چکیده

Kebun Raya Liwa’s soil has the potential to allow for a population of microorganisms such as Bacillus sp. Liwa are known produce phytohormones that have help plant growth and development, one which is hormone Indole Acetic Acid (IAA). This study aims determine from Rawa in producing IAA hormones. The research method included taking samples, preparing Nutrient Agar (NA) medium, measuring pH isolating bacteria, purifying characterizing sp., standard curves, testing potency production was carried out two ways, namely content with addition tryptophan without tryptophan. concentration measured using spectrophotometer wavelength 520 nm. data obtained presented tabular form. isolation results 10 isolates were able highest isolate BP 5 1.18 ppm, 13 3.90 ppm. indicates rhizosphere can

Optimization for production of Indole acetic acid (IAA) by plant growth promoting Streptomyces sp VSMGT1014 isolated from rice rhizosphere

Rhizosphere is a wealthy location of microbes, ecological niche and should be explored for potential plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), which developing as bioinoculants for interact with plant roots and enhancement of yield of crop plants. There are several plant growth promoting rhizobacterial (PGPR) inoculants that seems to promote plant growth through different mechanism such as I...

Tryptophan-dependent production of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) affects level of plant growth promotion by Bacillus amyloliquefaciens FZB42.

Phytohormone-like acting compounds previously have been suggested to be involved in the phytostimulatory action exerted by the plant-beneficial rhizobacterium Bacillus amyloliquefaciens FZB42. Analyses by high-performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry performed with culture filtrates of FZB42 demonstrated the presence of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), corroborating...

Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) production by Arthrobacter species isolated from Azolla.

Arthrobacter species, isolated from the leaf cavities and the microsporocarps of the aquatic fern species Azolla pinnata and Azolla filiculoides, produced indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) in culture when the precursor tryptophan was added to the medium. No IAA production was detected in the absence of tryptophan. Maximum IAA formation was obtained in the first 2 d of incubation. Part of the tryptopha...

Indole-3-acetic Acid (IAA) and IAA Conjugates Applied to Bean Stem Sections: IAA Content and the Growth Response.

High resolution growth recording techniques and reverse isotope dilution analysis were used to study the relationship between indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) concentration and curvature of excised bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L. cv Bush Burpee Stringless) first internode sections unilaterally treated with hormone. The maximum rate of curvature occurred rapidly (within 25 minutes) and was proportional to...

Optimization of alkaline protease production from a locally isolated Bacillus sp. ZR-5: Potential application as a detergent additive

The aim of this study was to optimize protease production using a novel Bacillus sp. ZR-5 strainisolated from the soil, and evaluate its application in detergent industry. The proteolytic activityof the strain was demonstrated using gelatin hydrolysis screening test. Protease productionoptimization was carried out using a two-step approach: a conventional method in order toidentify the best car...
